Holistic Care Questions
1 ) What is an Integrative Therapist and Systems Consultant?
As an Integrative Therapist, I combine evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems Theory with holistic, body-based practices that support deep, sustainable healing. This includes somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, breathwork, and, when appropriate, sacred medicine integration rooted in consent, respect, and personal readiness.
As a Systems Consultant, I help individuals and organizations see the invisible threads—cultural, familial, generational—that shape our behavior and beliefs, so we can create change that’s not only personal but systemic.
2 ) What types of clients do you work with?
I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, identity exploration, life transitions, and cultural/ancestral healing. I affirm and support LGBTQ+ clients and center care that is inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally attuned.
3 ) What happens in a typical session?
Each session is grounded, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. We may explore thought patterns, emotional responses, body sensations, and relational dynamics using a mix of talk therapy, somatic tools, and mindfulness-based techniques. From day one, you’ll leave with practical tools to help you feel more grounded and connected.
